The Story of Scruffy
|
Scruffy is a large, black and white dog, who always looks messy, with lots of hair and dinner stuck to his whiskers. Of course he wasn't always called Scruffy. That's the name we gave him because he was.....well.....er....scruffy.
As a small puppy, he was a Christmas present for two children. But six months later when the family went on holiday, he was abandoned and left to fend for himself.
Fortunately he met up with a fabulous dog, called George, an Old English Sheep Dog, brown and white and covered in hair. And it is George who looks after him and helps him when he goes to the Home for Stray Dogs.
Scruffy loves walks, travelling in cars and trains, but hates suitcases and vets in white coats, with long needles.
